Three-dimensional inspection case of large turbine inner wall
The turbine is composed of five major components, the water diversion component (volute), the water guiding component (vane), the working component (runner), the drain component (the draft tube) and the non-overcurrent components (bearing, spindle, seal and flywheel, etc.). In order to measure the turbine volute castings, a large domestic hydropower enterprise invited our technicians to scan and analyze the inner wall of the turbine volute of the company, so as to improve the product of the inner casing of the turbine volute.
1. The inner wall of the turbine is welded by large castings, with a diameter of more than 10m and a height of about 4m. The traditional measuring tools cannot perform complete scanning and splicing.
2. During the scanning process of the inner wall of the turbine, the accumulated error will be too large due to the large object to be measured. How to eliminate the influence caused by the error is the biggest problem.
In order to eliminate the scanning cumulative error and complete splicing, the Hualang 3D technical engineer proposed to use the 3D scanner α7000 to quickly acquire high-precision 3D data of the turbine inner wall + reverse design software. The point cloud data of the turbine inner wall is converted into triangular mesh surface data) + imported design software for post-processing, and the detection analysis report is obtained.
